Miss Marty's Pre-School :

Our Story

Miss Marty 's Pre-School was opened in 1964 on Harvey Street in the Germantown section of Philadelphia.  Our Founder believed that every child deserved equal access to quality care, and so she worked tirelessly to make sure that Miss Marty's filled that need for the children and families in our community.  

 

Miss Marty operated her school until the time of her death in 2021.  At that time,  her daughters chose to continue to operate the school that bears their mothers name.   Each day, Christina and Janie, along with a warm, loving and caring team of teachers and administrators, honor their mother by continuing to serve the community she loved, and in which they were raised. 

 

Now, just a few blocks from the site of its founding, Miss Marty's Pre-School serves children from 6 weeks through 13 years old.
